ELAC- English Learner Advisory Committee
In accordance with Education Code 52176(b), all schools with twenty-one or more English learner (EL) students, not including Reclassified Fluent English Proficient (RFEP) students, are required to establish an English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC). All parents with students attending the school in which the ELAC is established are eligible and encouraged to participate in the ELAC. This advisory committee provides formal recommendations to the SSC for the budgeting of categorical funds.
In the 2016-2017 school year, ELAC agreed to delegate its authority to the School Site Council (SSC) for one year. Therefore, ELAC will not meet this school year and SSC will take over its duties.

All of our meetings are normally scheduled to begin at 8:30 am in Room 10, The Parent Center, unless otherwise noted. These meetings are open to the public as stipulated in the Green Act.
